Sutton Methodist Church

Sutton Methodist Church shares its Minister with its sister Church, Bransholme Methodist. This Church is vastly different to Sutton in terms of its congregation size and mix, its buildings and the community it serves. However it is equally committed to serve Christ in its work it the community.

Formed just over 30 years ago in a house on the estate it has established itself over the years and now meets in a multi purpose Church building close to the major shopping centre of north point, Bransholme.

The small number of active members are supported by a full time lay worker and the Church seeks to serve its community wherever possible.

Currently it runs weekly mums and toddlers; a Tuesday table top sale; mens and ladies fellowships a worship group; and Sunday morning praise and worship. It also hosts community groups such as Slimming World, Karate and a Singing / Drama group.

The Church is developing good links with Cleeve Primary School and hopes to start a Saturday morning club in 2007. This Church makes everyone feel welcome and is proud of the work it does and the estate it belongs to.
