Sutton Methodist Church

Sutton Methodist Church has many children and youth activities under its umbrella.

For babies and toddlers we have a creche during morning worship; a cradle roll; a baby clinic that meets weekly and a parents and toddlers group that meets on Tuesday afternoon.

Sutton Methodist Church is also lucky to have one of the best and longest established pre-school nurseries in Hull.

For growing children our ‘Smoke and Fire’ Junior Church continues to grow and is very active. Children from 3 up to early teenagers have regular sunday morning sessions of crafts; games; chat and worship.

The Church hosts a Scout group which contains Beavers; Cubs and Scouts, a Guide unit containing Rainbows; Brownies and Guides, and a private dance class.

More recently we have opened a youth club for young people school years 6 to 9 that meets weekly and builds on the links already established with families.

During the year Sutton Methodist Church also runs very successful summer holiday clubs, easter craft days, Carol Service activity afternoon, Easter egg hunts and similar one off children's fun days.

We are lucky to have good links with our friends at Spring Cottage Primary School.
